Ann Marie grew up in the Midwest and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Social Work and Spanish degrees in 2012 and 2013. Following graduation, Ann Marie worked in Chicago serving inner-city patients through outpatient mental health counseling as well as crisis intervention with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The Navy brought Ann Marie and her family to San Diego in 2017, and since then she has loved working with the ROC clinic as a pain management therapist as well as the always-sunny San Diego weather! With a special emphasis on the Latino population, Ann Marie has enjoyed utilizing her Spanish in order to better serve her patients in their native language during sessions.
